Business Case Study: This session will look at why Drupal was chosen as the primary web platform for AllPlayers.com and the resulting benefits and trade-offs since that decision. Also explored will be the approaches for integration with other systems both internal and external along with future plans regarding Drupal going forward.

AllPlayers.com was created to fill a technology void in the areas of youth sports and community activities. Our goal was to create a solution to make it easier for groups to manage, organize and communicate between organizers, participants, parents and fans. We wanted to make it free and easy, so anyone could use our services regardless of financial or technical challenges.

The result is a powerful Drupal-based web application that incorporates organic groups, broadcast messaging, online registration, sports league autoscheduler and dozens of custom modules to meet the needs and desires of our customers.
